About Kentford, Suffolk

The small village of Kentford lies some 4 miles east of Newmarket with excellent links to Bury St Edmunds, Norwich, Newmarket and Cambridge via the A14. The nearest train station is Kennett less than 1/2 mile away with direct links to Cambridge railway station from which there is a direct, regular train service to London (Kings Cross) of some 45 minutes, or London (Liverpool Street). The nearest airport is Stansted approximately 29 miles to the South. Harwich provides the closest ferry port some 40 miles from Kentford.

Bury Road (B1506) serves as an alternative route between Newmarket and the A14. Bury Road is residential as it runs through the village of Kentford and benefits from two pubs within the settlement area. Additional services include a Post Office and general stores roughly 1/4 mile from the development and St Mary's Church just to the east of the site. More extensive shopping is available nearby at Newmarket and Cambridge.
